Lips Enhancement
Many women complain about their lips in terms of symmetry and thickness because the lips are located in the center of the face and are considered as a symbol of sensuality.
In modern aesthetic medicine methods, the appearance of the lips can be improved without surgery but rather by injecting a filler whose purpose is to thicken, correct asymmetry and shape the lips.
The treatment is suitable for young women with narrow lips or women who suffer from depletion of the lip tissue as part of the aging process.
At the clinic we use only temporary filling of hyaluronic acid and not permanent fillers like silicone which may create lumps and unnatural appearance. Other side effects of permanent silicone are the possibility that the silicone will migrate to other areas in the body and will form granulomas (a type of inflammation) as well as other infections.
However, Hyaluronic Acid is a natural substance that exists in the body and therefore is absorbed in the lips and facilitates their design exactly to the desired look in a safe manner.
To complete the desired look of the lips, it is common to also fill in the wrinkles above the upper lip which are known as smokers and talkers wrinkles.
Another possible treatment to improve the appearance of the mouth is called "Gummy Smile".
This is a common phenomenon in which the upper lip rises excessively while smiling and thus exposes the gums in an unaesthetic way.
There are several reasons for this phenomenon, including congenital anatomical structure of the jaw or teeth, as well as hyperactive lip.
Using Botox actually makes it possible to loosen the upper lip, reducing its motility and thus preventing it from rising too much - just as it is done on forehead wrinkles.
The benefits of using this method of treatment are clear - it is not a surgical procedure but a short treatment during which Botox is injected on both sides of the nose. Like any injection of substance, it is important that the attending physician will be qualified and skilled so that the smile will turn out symmetrical and beautiful.
